The main goal at Production with Added Value (PAV) is to eliminate the wasting sources. The numerous benefits of PAV (PAV-Lean) are not displayed anymore. Under this famous designation (5S-SMED-Flux drawee-Kanban) is regrouped a multitude of practices and methods allowing, with good timing, to manufacture a quality handmade product at competitive price.

All our employees, at administrative level as well as production level, were trained on the principles of PAV. We apply these rules to all stages of the order process.

  • From submission to delivery, techniques come across a PAV method named drawn flux. This principle enables to balance automatically and equitably the work volume across all stages of production and, as a result, to diminish ongoing jobs and consequently delays.
  • The majority of our workstations adopted the 5S method. Our employees are very proud of their workstations and the effectiveness that they withdraw from it.
  • Single minute exchange of die (SMED system) was performed on our bottleneck posts with the intention of reducing race setting and consequently improves the fluidity in generating orders. This method is very important in our industry where batches are regularly of smaller size inducing several setups in every job quarter.
  • The plant’s inventory of supplies is managed by Kan Ban, a production planner and material control system. This simple visual approach allows disposal of defective parts.
